Families,
Please remember and respect the guidelines to keep you child home until they are fever and vomit/diarrhea free WITHOUT MEDICATION for 24 hours. There's a lot of sickness going around and we had several students come back too soon.
Obviously, we want students at school but not at the risk of their health or the health of others.

A huge thank you for your patience and cooperation during pick-up today.
Unfortunately, I need to change drop off in the morning due to the dumpster being dropped off
in the wrong area.
K-5 families, I am asking that you utilize the bus lane at drop off. Please turn in at the bus entrance
across from Angeleno’s Pizza and pull forward to the drop-off gate. We will have staff
members outside supervising. If you arrive before 7 am…DO NOT block the bus lane. Park
in the visitor lot and drive around once we start receiving students.
Pre-K and Headstart families, if you arrive before 7:30 am, please park in the old BHS lot and
after we get K-5 though traffic you may use the “middle” entrance by the BES visitor parking lot
to follow your normal traffic pattern.
Once again, I ask you to be courteous and patient, safety is my overall concern.
I have been told work will be completed by 1 pm tomorrow, so I am optimistic that this will
be the last change. If not, we will need to follow today’s pick-up procedure.

For the remainder of the week, you will need to park in the visitor parking lot and wait until
buses leave to pull through the parent pick up lane. It’s going to be tricky to get everyone
through the line this way but to avoid the demolition and keep everyone safe, we will just
have to make it work! I will have staff outside to help direct traffic, please be patient and
courteous to them and one another…remember the kids learn from our example! 😊

Please do not get in the parent pick up lane until after 2pm.
Pre-k parents start lining up at 1:30 for their dismissal at 1:45 and they can't get through or turn around.
Gilbert's bus 244 is picking up another route this morning so he may be 10-20 minutes late picking up his usual run.
Custer Ridge Bus will not be running today. 2/2/26
Keep in mind if the bus doesn't run in the am and you drop off your students, you will need to pick them up in the pm.

This message is for BES families of 4th & 5th grade students. Our breakfast club will begin at 8 am in the morning, Friday, 1/23.

Due to the unpredictable weather we are canceling Good News Club and Archery practice for this afternoon.
These students will follow their regular dismissal routine unless we hear otherwise from guardians.

There's school today! There was a wreck and buses are behind it. We don't know where or when they'll get through! There is an app you can use to track your students bus.

Breakfast Club for 2nd and 3rd grade is Friday, 10/24 from 8-9:45. Students perform first so please be on time!

Field Day is tomorrow!
K-2 is 8-11. 3-5 is 11:30-2. Wear tennis shoes, and a class shirt (or color), bring a water bottle and a towel to sit on. The rain didn't get us last Friday but the heat might tomorrow! Please do not sign students out. Our attendance goal is all day, everyday!
Due to the predicted rain all this week we are moving field day to Wednesday, June 4th. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The Title 1 Parent Advisory Committee meeting for this evening at the BOE has been cancelled.
Grade 3-5 families: due to Tuesday's internet outage we will be testing on Friday. Please have students at school, rested and on time. Research states that make up test scores generally aren't as good as testing with peers in standard settings. It causes undue stress for all!
